I’ve spent my entire career learning the ins-and-outs of financial planning. In addition to helping people understand their finances, I am a firm believer in providing my clients with the advice and tools they need to save and invest their money wisely and with purpose.
When I’m not meeting with clients, I enjoy spending time with my family, practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, reading, rocking out at a concert, practicing my Spanish and mastering the art of Texas BBQ. A proud Eagle Scout, I also enjoy mentoring youths in the community.
Before launching my career, I studied Economics at Brigham Young University.
I began my career as a chemical engineer with a focus on design and project engineering. After a few years of working in the nuclear, mining and defense industries, I shifted my focus to tax by joining a national firm specializing in the R&D Tax Credit.
For almost a decade, I spent my time mastering the R&D Tax Credit, leading me to become the director of two different national firms who worked with clients in a variety of industries.
I founded Liftoff Financial Planning with Jackson because of my passion for personal finance and life mission to help other people chase their dreams.
In my free time, you can find me spending time with my wife and dogs in beautiful Idaho, running my Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy here in Pocatello, attending church and volunteering at our local community food pantry.
